Calvara Travel respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Instant assessment
The Trip Direction Finder runs in your browser. Your answers and result category are not submitted to Calvara, stored by the assessment, emailed, shared with a travel partner, or sent as an analytics event. Standard website analytics may still record page views and general device or usage data.
Information you choose to provide
We may collect your name and email when you voluntarily join the email list, or information you include in a direct business, correction, support, or privacy email. Do not send passport details, payment information, medical records, legal documents, or sensitive security information.
How we use information
- To deliver a requested checklist and optional travel emails after explicit consent.
- To respond to partnership, correction, privacy, or website-support inquiries.
- To improve website content and understand aggregate usage.
Email choices
The newsletter and free-checklist form requires explicit email consent. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you may also request removal by emailing us.
Service providers
We use Google Analytics for aggregate website usage and Brevo for consented subscriber management and email delivery. Those providers process information under their own terms and may process data outside your state or country.
Affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link, you leave Calvara for a third-party travel provider. That provider controls availability, pricing, booking, payment, and its own privacy practices.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. The browser-only assessment does not send traveler answers to us or to partners. We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to operate a service you explicitly requested.
Retention and your choices
Subscription and consent records are kept while needed to provide the emails you requested, honor unsubscribe requests, and meet legal or operational requirements. Direct emails are retained only as needed to handle the conversation and ordinary business records. Analytics data follows Google Analytics retention settings. You may request access, correction, deletion, or an export of personal information Calvara controls by emailing the address below. We may need to retain limited records when legally required or to preserve an unsubscribe request.
